John Meléndez
Altus Founder & Researcher
John Meléndez is a Taiwan-based American senior technical writer, independent researcher, and bilingual communicator specializing in frontier technologies including quantum computing, hyperdimensional computing (HDC), neuro-symbolic AI (NSAI), and related advanced systems. He currently leads research and technical documentation efforts at Altus Advanced Technology™, while also operating a multilingual scooter/motorcycle parts business (aapefi.com) website.
Previously, John served as a Senior Technical Writer at Microsoft (2021–2024), focusing on Azure, AI, and quantum-related content, and at Google Data Centers APAC (2015–2019), where he developed SOPs, training materials, and operational documentation. Earlier roles included positions at MICROSOFT, GOOGLE and INTEL.
He holds a B.A. in Oriental Studies (Chinese) with a minor in Renewable Natural Resources from the University of Arizona and is bilingual in English and Mandarin. Additional credentials include an FAA pilot certificate and FCC HAM radio license. John is an active researcher and content creator exploring quantum systems, toroidal geometry, space technologies, and practical applications of emerging science. John loves to ride motorcycles.

Stephen Sanchez
Research Scientist & Affiliate
Stephen Sanchez is former Boeing contractor, fabricating spacecraft components for NASA. He now works and lives in Sedona, Arizona, as a private research and development scientist. His current projects include creating and testing resonance / frequency designs for various technologies such as over-unity / free energy technologies such as Rodin Coils, and frequency-based healing devices.
Marko Rodin
Inventor, Researcher & Affiliate
Sedona-based Marko Rodin is an American inventor and independent researcher best known for developing Vortex-Based Mathematics (VBM), a numerical system derived from patterns in the decimal number system—particularly the repeating doubling sequence (1-2-4-8-7-5) and the distinctive roles of the numbers 3, 6, and 9. He maps these patterns onto toroidal (doughnut-shaped) geometry, claiming they reveal a fundamental blueprint of energy flow and the underlying structure of the universe.
From this framework he designed the Rodin Coil, a specialized toroidal winding configuration that follows the VBM number pathways. Proponents assert that the coil produces distinctive electromagnetic and energetic effects compared with conventional toroidal inductors. Rodin’s work has inspired a global community of independent researchers exploring applications in alternative energy systems, propulsion concepts, and topological approaches to computing.
Robert McMenemy
AI/ML Independent Researcher & Affiliate
Robert McMenemy is a Glasgow-based full-stack software engineer, independent AI/ML researcher, and entrepreneur currently affiliated with Opus 2 (legal technology). He specializes in hyperdimensional computing, neuro-symbolic AI, geometric and tropical algebra, privacy-preserving systems, neuromorphic processing, and reinforcement learning, while also working in full-stack development, Web3/Solidity, and cryptography. He serves as a director of Lumina Creative Ltd (web development, design, and digital services) and previously co-founded Blockgeni3 Ltd. Holding a BSc in Web Design and Development, he is a prolific technical writer on Medium and LinkedIn, a 2026 AI Pro National Champion, and has published research on federated RL and HDC-based systems.
